Weld Position Power Curbers Inc. Salisbury, NC 28146 Weld Position Seeking an experienced MIG welder to weld production within the range of 16ga.- 1½ plate in a one-piece flow, lean production atmosphere. Job description

Responsibilities and Duties:

To be safe in all operations of the job, to keep a clean and organized work area. To weld quality parts within the specifications set by the engineers. To meet production with each weldment on the schedule. Work in Lean Manufacturing environment with single piece flow. This is a first shift, full-time position and requires an on-site weld test prior to placement.

Qualifications and Skills:

High School education is required. 3+ years of welding experience Proficient in the use of measuring tools required in the welding process to keep parts within tolerance, overhead hoist. Reading and interpreting blueprints and laying out and fitting parts by hand. Strong math skills Steel handling and rigging skills.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand / or be on your feet all day. Ability to perform repetitive style work. Will be cross trained to work in other departments as needed. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
