Experienced Fabricator/Welder

Stitt Street, Monroe, NC 28110 International Construction Equipment, Inc, a leading manufacturer of pile driving and drilling equipment, is seeking a Metal Fabricator/Welder in our Monroe, NC office. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday with opportunity for overtime. The hours of the position are typically Monday

• Thursday 6:00AM
• 3:30PM and Friday 6:00AM
• 10:00AM.

This is not a training or entry level position. All new hires will be required to pass a knowledge and weld test.

Responsibilities include:

• Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Setting up components for welding according to specifications
• Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Accurately complete required tasks in the most efficient way possible to minimize discrepancies and re-work Your qualifications should include:
• Proven experience as a welder using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
• Strong attention to detail
• Maintain good attendance and reliability as well as work required hours to help meet production schedule
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

The work week is primarily Monday through Friday with overtime as directed by business needs.
