Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Manufacturing Solderer to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for performing precision soldering operations on electronic components and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBs), ensuring all work meets industry standards and quality specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a steady hand, a strong work ethic, and a passion for electronics assembly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Solder electronic components using through-hole, surface mount (SMT) , and other soldering techniques (e.g., hand soldering, reflow, and wave soldering). Ensure proper orientation, placement, and secure connection of components on PCBs. Inspect solder joints using magnification tools to identify defects such as cold joints, solder bridges, or shorts. Rework and desolder components as necessary while maintaining PCB integrity. Follow work instructions, schematics, blueprints, and

standards for quality assurance. Handle delicate electronic components and soldering materials with care and precision. Maintain, clean, and calibrate soldering irons, rework stations, and other soldering equipment. Safely handle soldering chemicals and adhere to all safety protocols and PPE guidelines . Record accurate production and inspection data using manual or computer-based systems. Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Technical training or IPC soldering certification a plus Previous experience in soldering electronic components, especially in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of SMT and through-hole soldering techniques Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and consistency Basic computer skills for production logging (a plus) Balance Staffing is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
