Adecco, in partnership with a local client which is hiring Weld Technicians for full-time opportunities in Fairfield, NJ. This is a 2nd shift position with immediate openings for reliable, safety-conscious individuals looking to grow with a supportive and dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Weld Technician, you’ll be responsible for welding frames, legs, and various parts using TIG and MIG techniques. You will support manufacturing operations by setting up welding machines, maintaining quality standards, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details:

2nd Shift
Full-Time, Year-Round Employment

Key Responsibilities:

Operate welding machines (TIG/MIG) for aluminum and steel
Use jigs/fixtures andplete drill/grind operations
Inspect and correct welded parts as needed
Maintain workstation per 5S and safety standards
Collaborate on daily production and special projects
Proactively identify and report workplace hazards
????

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read/interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and procedures
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow directions
Goodmunication and teamwork skills
Comfortable using basic production tools and navigating digital boards
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally 100 lbs)

Preferred Experience:

Previous welding experience (TIG/MIG)
Familiarity with industrial manufacturing settings

Working Environment & Safety Requirements:

Warehouse setting (non-climate controlled)
Steel-toed boots, safety glasses, welding PPE required
Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and manual tasks

Pay Details:

$17.50 per hour
