Stainless Steel Tig Welder American Showcase and Foodservice Equipment Inc. Fairfield, NJ 07004 Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, particularly TIG welding, and will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Duties Perform TIG welding on various metals, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements. Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers to ensure accurate dimensions in fabrication. Operate additional equipment including forklifts, press brake machines, and perform stick welding as needed. Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Apply basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and material requirements. Qualifications Proven experience as a Tig Welder with a strong understanding of welding techniques and materials. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively. Familiarity with other welding processes such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and stick welding is preferred. Experience operating forklifts and other machinery safely in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise work consistently. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding projects. Ability to solder components as required for specific projects. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to rig components safely when necessary.
