The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding and fabrication, particularly in the construction and HVAC industries. This role involves working on various projects, including pipeline installation and maintenance, where precision and adherence to safety standards are paramount. The Pipe Welder will be responsible for assembling and welding pipes according to specified codes and standards, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities Perform welding tasks on various types of pipes using techniques such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and soldering. Execute tube bending operations to meet project specifications. Assemble pipe systems by connecting components accurately and securely. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Adhere to all safety protocols while working on construction sites to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with industry codes and standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Assembling and constructing metal structures and products, ensuring accurate alignment, fit, and structural integrity. Grinding, Finishing, smoothing and preparing welds for a clean, finished appearance. Qualifications Proven experience as a Pipe Welder, preferably in construction or HVAC settings. Proficiency in welding techniques, including FCAW and soldering. Strong understanding of pipe assembly and installation processes. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards governing pipe welding practices. Ability to work effectively on construction sites, demonstrating strong teamwork skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
