Job Description
Join one of America’s leading heavy industrial machine shops supporting both DoD and commercial clients. Work alongside experienced machinists and welders in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform multi-pass, all-position welds using SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW. Interpret blueprints, sketches, and welding procedures (WPS). Operate and monitor heat treatment furnaces. Maintain safety standards and pass company welding certification and workmanship training.
Requirements:
U.S. citizenship required for DoD facility access. High school diploma or GED. 1+ year of heavy industrial welding preferred (training + aptitude considered). Ability to read blueprints, use measuring tools, and perform basic math. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands:
Lift/move up to 50 lbs. Regular standing, climbing, kneeling, and use of stairs/ladders. Computer use and basic MS Word/Excel skills required.
