Job Description
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented TIG Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for precision welding tasks using the TIG (GTAW) process. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
+ Complete welding of prefabricated assemblies + Perform TIG welding on a variety of materials according to project specifications. + Fabricate simple assemblies from a blueprint + Setup welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness + Visually inspect completed welds for size and quality + Read/Interpret blueprints + Work independently and follow a schedule + Participate in shop cleanup activities + Use job routers to log time + Communicate with Shop Leads regarding quality and production schedules + Work safely + Assist coworkers with other tasks as assigned + Operate within the requirements of an
ISO 9001
Quality System Job Requirements:
+ High school diploma or GED + 2 years minimum experience welding in a work environment + Proficient in GMAW, FCAW and GTAW for mild steel + Read and understand WPS (welding procedure specification) + Read a tape measure and interpret fractions + Use levels, squares, chalk line, angle finder and other fabrication tools + Use fillet gages to inspect weld sizes + Use basic hand tools (grinders, hammer, level, etc.)
Physical Demands:
