MIG and/or TIG Welders (20+ openings) Job Description This company fabricates custom concealment structures for the telecom industry, using various steel and aluminum fabrication processes. We are currently ramping up production due to various work orders and looking to expand our custom fab team! As a welder, you are responsible for completing welding of prefabricated assemblies, setting up welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness, and operating a variety of fabrication equipment. You will also fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints and read/interpret blueprints accurately. Responsibilities Complete welding of prefabricated assemblies. Setup welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness. Operate a variety of fabrication equipment including plate roller, saw, pipe roller, and drill press. Fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints. Read and interpret blueprints. Essential Skills +3 years of welding experience. Proficiency in MIG welding and/or TIG welding Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with stainless steel and/or aluminum fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of various fabrication equipment such as plate roller, saw, pipe roller, and drill press. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will be working in a fabrication shop that is non-climate controlled, so it can get hot. The shop is equipped with a variety of modern fabrication equipment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
