Welder/Fabricator Position Available In Charleston, South Carolina

Job Title:

Welder/Fabricator Job Description Responsible for completing welding of prefabricated assemblies, setting up welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness, and operating a variety of fabrication equipment. You will also fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints and read/interpret blueprints accurately. Responsibilities Complete welding of prefabricated assemblies. Setup welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness. Operate a variety of fabrication equipment including plate roller, saw, pipe roller, and drill press. Fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints. Read and interpret blueprints. Essential Skills +3 years of welding experience. Proficiency in MIG welding (GMAW). Experience with Flux Core welding & TIG welding Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with stainless steel fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of various fabrication equipment such as plate roller, saw, pipe roller, and drill press. Why Work Here? The shop is equipped with a variety of modern fabrication equipment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $25.00/hr.
