What You’ll Do Carry out gas metal arc welding (GMAW) to manufacture and repair equipment items and components
Cut materials into the required shapes, checking dimensions and thicknesses
Welding or joining metal and other materials into a wide range of structures
Operating different types of tools, machinery and welding equipment
Evaluating finished projects and performing quality checks
Performing all welding tasks using various welding equipment and technologies
Designing new parts and producing them according to specifications and company needs
Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
What You’ll Need Capable of performing a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, reaching, bending, climbing and kneeling
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to work overtime as necessary outside of normally scheduled shift with little or no advance notification
Experience with stick, MIG, and wire feed welding
Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication and equipment maintenance preferred
Valid driver’s license with current motor vehicle insurance and a clean driving record
Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
