Job Title:
Welder/Fitter Job Description As a Welder/Fitter, you will play a crucial role in preparing materials for welding by laying out and measuring according to blueprints. Your work will involve being on your feet for the entire shift and moving throughout the plant as needed.
Pay:
$21.30hr
Shift:
2nd shift. Mon-Fri. (3:00pm-12:45am)
- Lots of overtime.
Responsibilities Lay out materials and prepare them for welders. Read and interpret blueprints. Measure materials accurately. Work on your feet for the entire shift and move throughout the plant. Essential Skills Proficiency in Flux core, Mig, and Tig welding. Ability to read blueprints. Experience with fabrication and fitting. Knowledge of working with stainless steel, carbon steel, and structural steel. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous welding experience of 3-6 months. Ability to pass a weld test during the interview (1-5F). Completion of a two-week onsite weld school if offered. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.30 – $21.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
