HVAC fabricator/Welder Sheet Metal Nashville, TN 37210 Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various welding techniques, Including HVAC fittings. This role involves working with sheet metal and utilizing power tools to fabricate components according to specifications. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and precision of our products. This includes rails, #3 stainless finishing, hoppers, grease duct or anything a customer needs. The ideal candidate would have the experience to field measure, fabricate, repair anything that comes around. Responsibilities Interpret and work from schematics and blueprints to fabricate all metal components. Operate power tools and machinery, including press brake machines, shears, rollers to shape and form materials. Perform stick, tig welding and mig on various metals, ensuring strong and clean welds. Use measuring instruments such as micrometers and dial calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in fabrication and welding, specifically with sheet metal. Proficiency in operating power tools and machinery relevant to fabrication processes. Strong understanding of mechanical principles and fabricating processes processes. including i.d , o.d measurements Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Familiarity with welding techniques such as tig welding and mig is essential. Experience using measuring tools like micrometers and dial calipers for precise measurements.
