Job Title:
Welder – 1st Shift ($23 – $25 starting pay) Job Description We are seeking a proficient Welder with experience in MIG welding for a full-time position on the first shift. The ideal candidate will be open to learning fabrication techniques, working occasional overtime, and traveling to various locations for equipment installation. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on carbon, stainless steel, Galvanized Steel. Learn and apply various fabrication techniques. Complete welding tasks and pass a weld test. Read and interpret blueprints for welding and fabrication projects. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG welding. Downhill welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with fabrication equipment. Mechanical skills for equipment installation. Why Work Here? The work hours are from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 7am to 3:30pm, with minimal overtime required. Steel toe shoes are mandatory for safety. No certifications are required for this role. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $25.00/hr.
