• Job Description
• Join our team as a Welder where you will engage in tac/mig welding within a production welding and processing atmosphere.

You will work on a variety of tasks including plate to plate, block to plate, butt joint, stitch welding, pipe welding, and square block welding for brackets and components for large equipment. Occasionally, you may be asked to assist with operating a press brake, paint line, powder coating, and assembly tasks.

• Responsibilities
• + Perform tac/mig welding for various components and equipment. + Engage in plate to plate, block to plate, butt joint, stitch welding, pipe welding, and square block welding. + Operate additional equipment such as a press brake and assist in paint line and powder coating tasks. + Participate in assembly processes as required.
• Essential Skills
• + Proficiency in MIG welding and ability to read blueprints. + Experience in grinding, fabrication, and working with steel. + Ability to accurately use a tape measure. + Good attitude, team player + Motivation and desire to do well

• + Flexibility and openness to engage in tasks beyond primary responsibilities. + Ability to work independently with a growth mindset. + Strong attendance record and pride in maintaining clean welds. + Certification in welding is preferred.

• Work Environment
• You will be working in a mid-size fabrication shop with around 30 colleagues.

The shop includes processes like painting, press brake, welding, and assembly. Our company is growing, having added 6-7 new customers in 2024. Work involves mild steel ranging from 20 gauge to 1 inch. The shift is Monday to Thursday from 5:30am to 3:30pm, with Friday overtime if needed. Flexibility in working hours is allowed as long as a manager is present. Paid breaks and a 20-minute paid lunch are provided.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dunlap, Tennessee.

• Starting Pay:

• $20•25/hr, depending on experience •

Shift:

• 1st•5:30am to about 3:30pm

CENTRAL TIME

• Schedule:

• Monday
• Thursday; OT on Fridays as needed
• Weekly hours:
• 40-45, maybe 50 on occasions

• The pay range for this position is $20.00
