Overview:
The Vice President of Player Development is accountable for ensuring meaningful profitable growth in our VIP Slot and Table business.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
Co-develop written plans for Player Development, Executive Hosts, Casino Hosts and VIP Events with measurable goals for growth at each property that is agreed upon by property and corporate leadership Maintain oversight and strategic direction of Player Development and Casino Host departments for all properties Maintain a sales contact system for tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of sales efforts to players Recruit high-level Player Development executives, Hosts, Executive Hosts and appropriate Administrative personnel and measure the effectiveness of their contributions. Implement and maintain processes to fully optimize complimentary given to players to ensure the highest return on decisions Build Asian Marketing programs that show sustainable growth in Asian VIP play Maintain and build relationships with independent reps to continuously grow that channel of business Partner with corporate database and property PD and Marketing to build a cooperative esprit de corps among the greater marketing team Work to achieve efficiencies and knowledge sharing in Player Events across properties Create external strategic alliances with outside businesses and clubs to generate VIP play Create alliances that add value to the Players Club among VIPs Create value through combined purchasing, sharing best demonstrated practices Implement cross property strategies that steal trips from competitive markets Propose new reinvestment strategies that create value for VIP customers and the company Ensure VIP database integrity Prepare communications, budgets, plans, presentations and meeting agendas
Qualifications:
To achieve success in this role, an individual must embrace and accomplish the above duties/responsibilities. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skills, abilities and behaviors this professional should have and emulate: Strong knowledge of property management, reservations and player tracking systems (e.g. LMS, ARTS, CMP, etc.) as well as call center management systems (ACD/PBX, WFM, QM, etc.) along with proficiency with all MS Office packages Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to lead, direct, delegate and motivate others Demonstrable understanding of the complexities associated with a skills-based routing and scheduling environment EDUCATION and
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree and/or 8+ years of directly related experience in an advanced management role within an inbound contact center Experience in a call center, hotel revenue management position or in the casino industry is considered a definite plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to remain in a seated position for extended periods of time, whether in meetings, or handling administrative work which requires repetitive finger and wrist motion (keyboard data entry) as well as prolonged viewing of data on a computer monitor Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
