This position manages the activities of the Marketing Department, including RFP/RFQ Submittals, Statement of Qualifications, Marketing Collateral Production (brochures, advertisement), development/maintenance of project description sheets, and the development and maintenance of the company website and social media channels. The Head of Marketing maintains positive client relationships and works to establish a network of industry contacts, building alliances to team on potential projects, and conducting research on potential opportunities, competitors, teaming partners and others as needed, in partnership and collaboration with Business Development. Essential Job Functions Marketing Planning, Strategy and Services Create, implement, and measure the success of a comprehensive marketing, communication and public relations program to enhance the organization’s image and position throughout the markets we serve and the general public. Educate and support Vertical Market Leaders on marketing strategy and best practices Develop, manage, and enforce marketing strategy and budget Identify, compile, track, and report on key marketing metrics Conduct and report research on market trends to guide marketing strategy Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities Lead development of current and new marketing materials, firm brand, and graphic standards Manage internal/external communications Website content management Manage exposure of Company in social media Manage project and staff photography Database Management (data input and updating of contacts, mailing lists, projects, personnel, etc. information) Manage internal marketing materials, branding and company consistency Public Relations Develop and maintain strategic relationships with target clients Plan and execute promotion of organization through trade shows, community chambers and sponsorship opportunities to build collaborative relationships and highlight organization’s services. Assist and encourage Principals to write articles for publication Determine appropriate sponsorships and donations to professional and non-profit organizations Participate in trade show and target market sector industry conferences Oversee holiday cards and gifts Understand journalistic and advertising publication techniques, social media postings and copyright laws/use of visuals Participate fully in professional societies and activities related to vertical markets Business Development Research potential clients, specialty consultants, and partnering opportunities Research and follow up on marketing leads gained through business development efforts Initiate, develop and maintain strong client, consultant and media representative relationships Participation in business, community and industry events Manage customer contact and Zippered relationships. Proposal Management Interpret Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and generate compliance matrix Develop specific sales strategies and themes to incorporate into proposals and presentations Assist in gathering & developing information to include in proposals; Participate in team meetings and conference calls Write, edit, and update proposal narratives, resumes for project personnel assigned to the project team, and coordinate final production Create presentations, boards, leave-behinds, etc. Assist interview team in preparing for interview Competencies Consistently contributes to and promotes a positive company culture Positively represents TMG as the most sought-after construction partner and employer of choice within the industry and the community Believes in and exemplifies the

While performing the duties the employee is regularly required to make use of close vision to read engineering blueprints and reduced size black and white drawings, specifications, fine print, reports, schedules, estimates, spreadsheets, summaries and other documents in either hard copy or computer monitor. Must be able to converse on the telephone and in person, use hands and fingers to write and type, prepare email messages with attached files and use personal computers and calculators. The employee will periodically need to lift and/or carry heavy documents such as specifications and/ or equipment, weighing up to 25 pounds.
