The Role:
Chief AI Officer (In Training) You’ll be the go-to person for identifying and implementing AI-powered tools and automations that improve how we work – across operations, marketing, compliance, and more. You’ll also help shape our AI strategy from the ground up , working closely with leadership and directly influencing how AI shows up in our firm. ????? What You’ll Be Doing Audit internal workflows and identify opportunities to apply AI or automation Build with tools like ChatGPT, LangChain, MCP, etc. Lead a small internal team (data specialist + remote developer) Integrate tools across departments (sales, ops, compliance, marketing) Keep things ethical and compliant – this is still finance Communicate your work clearly to both tech-savvy and non-technical teammates Stay on top of what’s new and bring fresh ideas to the table regularly ? You’re a Fit If You… Have 3-6 years of experience in tech, product, operations, or automation Are hands-on with tools like MCP, LangChain, Codex, OpenAI Agents SDK Love streamlining processes, building clean systems, and making things faster Thrive in smaller teams with lots of autonomy and room to lead Want to grow into a leadership role and have a say in how tech is used across a company Are resourceful, adaptable, and excited to help define a new type of role ???? Bonus Points For… Experience in a regulated industry (finance, health, etc.) Comfort with APIs, CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) Previous startup or agency experience Familiarity with ethical AI frameworks and risk mitigation ????
