Schedule:

Minimum Starting Pay Rate:

$53,498.00 annual salary; pay will be commensurate with experience.

Annual Merit Increases:

General Summary Responsible for creating, developing, implementing, and monitoring all corporate marketing campaigns, which includes market research, campaign presentment, and establishing metrics to analyze and ensure goals are achieved. Responsible for writing corporate communiques, web and social content, and all promotional materials and ensuring all aspects of marketing are in compliance with operating policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements. Responsible for developing, organizing, and managing corporate events for public outreach. Responsible for supporting sales and service and providing various reports. Essential Duties Regular attendance is required and will vary by position. Specific hours should be discussed with supervisors and/or division managers. Based on need, the Bank does reserve the right to adapt at any point in time. Manages marketing activities and initiatives to support customer service activities and profitable market penetration as follows: Prepares an annual marketing plan based on strategic objectives and then coordinates a calendar of marketing events to reach the outlined goals. Designs and coordinates billboards, radio, print ads, etc. Ensures that all marketing and advertising promotions and initiatives, including the website, social media, print materials, auditory communications, etc. are in line with the corporate culture to protect the organization and properly promote the JVB brand. Promotes internal communications within all Bank departments to ensure quality and consistency in the branch products and service offerings. Works with Bank personnel, primarily in Trust, Retail & Lending, to identify opportunities for increased business and then prepares appropriate marketing and advertising materials to support those initiatives. Manages charitable contributions. Develops/creates internal sales campaigns, establishes metrics and reporting of results. Manages campaigns such as but not limited to brand awareness, customer traffic, product promotion, lead generation, digital advertising, and direct mailing. Participates in building/facility renovations to support branding and improve customer experience initiatives. Designs and manages JVB’s website and its content, ensuring it is not only current but in compliance with all regulations. Leads, develops, and coordinates the Bank’s presence at all special events and community events. Assists the evaluation of product and service offerings within the business and electronic services channels. Researches and analyzes market data. This includes assessing market characteristics, customers and financial services’ needs, maintaining an accurate and current awareness of the marketing programs of competitive financial institutions, and staying current on all marketing product/service developments and ideas. Develops the appropriate tools and metrics to measure and evaluate the results of advertising and marketing efforts, as well as customer satisfaction. Assists with the management of implementation of integrated, multi-channel marketing plans for one or more customer segments of business units. Secure Compliance approval to all marketing material and organize record keeping of such. 3. Assists with the development of strategies to achieve goals assigned to the department as established in the annual operating plan; assists in the development of the annual budget for the department and adheres to budget parameters. 4. Communicates with the Director of Customer Care and Training, other department managers, and appropriate staff personnel in order to integrate goals and activities. 5. Provides periodic reports to the Director of Customer Care and Training and other groups as required throughout the Bank. 6. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel, within other divisions, and departments as directed in order to insure the smooth and efficient flow of information. 7. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of sexual harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace. 8. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc. 9. Complies with established operating policies and procedures in order to maintain adequate controls and to support the Bank’s adherence to outside regulatory requirements. Requirements:
Basic Qualifications Education/Training:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred Specialized banking education and training Knowledge of digital ad and SEO analytics (i.e., Google, Bing, Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) Knowledge of customer service ethics, principles, and procedures Skill(s): Proficient in analyzing, interpreting, and implementing marketing strategy Proficient graphic design skills Proficient use of computer skills with marketing related software programs Proficient use of social media and digital marketing Proficient presentation, project management and problem-solving Excellent reading, writing, grammar, and composition skills Thorough knowledge of bank products and services Thorough knowledge of marketing regulations and compliance Excellent organizational and time management/prioritization skills Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills with an unwavering service orientation for both internal and external customers. Demonstrated poise and professionalism Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications Ability to work under extreme workloads or emergency conditions, should they occur Ability to adapt to operational, procedural, and technological changes quickly Ability to understand big picture and how critical the responsibilities are in fitting into the Bank as a whole Strong attention to detail Ability to travel between branches and outside vendors as necessary Ability to exemplify the 4C’s Values of JVB – Committed, Caring, Connected, Capable. Visual and auditory skills and ability to stand, sit, stoop, reach and lift items weighing approximately 50 lbs.

Valid Driver’s License Experience:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field and a minimum of three (3) years’ banking-related experience preferred.
