Your Role:
The VP of CorporateMarketing will be responsible for developing and executingTenable’s global communication strategy, ensuring cohesive,compelling, and differentiated messaging across all channels.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the VP of CorporateMarketing will play a critical role in positioning Tenable as theleader in exposure management, enhancing thought leadership,managing crisis communications, and aligning messaging withbusiness objectives.
Your Opportunity:
Strategic Communication &Brand Leadership Develop and implement a comprehensivecommunication strategy that positions Tenable as the authority inexposure management and cloud security. Drive brand reputationmanagement, ensuring consistent, compelling, and differentiatedmessaging across all platforms. Develop and execute thoughtleadership programs that elevate Tenable’s executives and expertsas the go-to voices in cybersecurity, cloud security, and exposuremanagement. Identify and mitigate potential reputational risks.
Media & Public Relations Serve as a primary spokesperson forTenable, cultivating relationships with top-tier media and industryinfluencers. Lead media relations efforts, crafting impactfulnarratives that highlight Tenable’s market leadership. Oversee thedevelopment of press releases, media alerts, and executivestatements to drive brand awareness and engagement. InternalCommunications & Employee Engagement Develop and implement internalcommunication strategies that foster alignment, transparency, andemployee engagement. Lead the creation of compelling employeecommunications, ensuring teams are informed and inspired by thecompany’s mission and vision. Partner with HR and leadership teamsto drive culture-building initiatives and employer brandingefforts. Executive & Thought Leadership Communications Providestrategic counsel to Tenable’s executive leadership oncommunication strategy, public speaking engagements, and mediainteractions. Craft high-impact speeches, presentations, andtalking points for executives. Secure keynote opportunities, mediainterviews, and bylined articles for Tenable’s leadership team.
Content & Social Media Strategy Oversee Tenable’s content marketingand social media strategy, ensuring engagement and visibilityacross key platforms. Drive digital storytelling. Monitor industrytrends and public sentiment to proactively manage online reputationand influence the cybersecurity conversation. Crisis & IssuesManagement Develop and execute crisis communication plans, ensuringa rapid and strategic response to potential reputational risks.
Lead cross-functional crisis response teams, ensuring alignment inmessaging and actions during critical events. Train and prepareexecutives and key stakeholders for high-stakes media interactionsand industry discussions.
What Youll Need:
15 years of experiencein corporate communications, public relations, or related fields,preferably in B2B technology or cybersecurity. Proven experiencedeveloping and executing global communications strategies thatdrive brand leadership and market differentiation. Strong trackrecord in media relations, crisis management, and executivecommunications. Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, withthe ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity. Strong leadership experience,with the ability to mentor and build high-performing teams.
Experience managing C-suite communications and executivepositioning. Demonstrated ability to collaborate acrossdepartments, influence senior leaders, and drive alignment on keymessages. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration,Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
