The anticipated salary range for this role is between $90,000.00 and $170,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire. SUMMARY:
- We’re looking for an experienced Internal Communications leader to build and own the strategy and execution for internal communication for Jenius Bank.
In this role, you’ll identify, craft, and execute messaging strategies that celebrate our company culture, drive employee engagement, and serve as a Jenius Bank steweard within our matrixed organization. This critical role will establish the function within Jenius back and collaborate closely with senior leadership. Due to the highly cross-functional nature of this role, this leader will need to collaborate across the enterprise to deliver breakthrough messaging and optimize the employee experience.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- + Refine and establish routines, guidelines, and channels of employee communicationso Maintain the internal “homepage”/Teams channel and ensure content reflects the most relevant and timely employee programso Own company-wide knowledge content libraries—review, update, and streamline with functional partnerso Establish and uphold content ownership protocols and run annual auditso Build and maintain a company-wide glossary of termso Track and report monthly and quarterly engagement insights + Promote the Jenius Bank culture of creating a shift in the banking industry among its employeeso Act as “air traffic control” for company-wide messages across email and key Teams channelso Develop Jenius Bank internal newsletter o Conduct and disseminate employee and product spotlights (i.
e. Town Halls)o Assist in authoring internal comms from leadership/presentations o Review and approve all external speaker requests + Partner with SMBC Americas Division and

to help optimize representation & communication for Jenius Bank employeeso Work closely with enterprise peers to optimize communications (i.e. email distro)o Ensure representation in enterprise Townhallso Develop partnership with regulatory relations and government affairs teams

POSITION SPECIFICS
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 8+ years of proven internal communications experience, ideally in the financial services industry
- Experience navigating & authoring messaging across a matrixed organzation
- Excellent project management skills with a history of successfully driving projects to completion.
- Experience in fast paced growth environments.
