POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Community Relations Manager organizes activities to raise funds or otherwise solicit and gather monetary donations or other gifts for the Women’s Center to include event management, cultivation and support of volunteer fundraising and affinity groups, assist with the design and production of promotional materials and raise awareness of the organizations work, goals, and financial needs.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

The remaining Essential Responsibilities are specific to job function: Raise funds for our cause and regularly meet or surpass fundraising targets. Research potential donors to gain insight into needs, beliefs and donation habits to understand how to best positon our organization for donations. Assist in brainstorming and creating new methods to raise funds. Leverage technology and social media to improve fundraising activities. Assist in the creation of marketing materials, like flyers and brochures, to be used for the promotion of events and other fundraising pushes. Maintain complete and orderly records of donors and manage regular donor communications. Build upon existing donor relationships and form new donor relationships on a regular basis Collaborate with other organizations and groups within the community to build partnerships and enhance fundraising activities. Regularly manage updates to constituent database and contact mailing lists to ensure donor contacts are properly moved through development process, coded appropriately, and troubleshoot issues related to incorrect data. Assist with the administrative functions of donor cultivation efforts of current and new donors to include but not limited to: Helping to ensure new welcome/thank you letters are sent in a timely manner to donors. Researching potential prospects and add information to constituent database, e.g. meeting notes Work closely with the Finance department on incoming gift processing to ensure proper donor detail information and timely thank you. Assist with special events planning and logistics to include preparation, execution, assessing logistical needs, and processing of online RSVPs through donor database system. Compile and create folders and marketing materials for donor prospect meetings. Act as staff lead for North Guild Turmy Lum Sieveking Chapter volunteers to include cultivation of relationships, coordination of events, lead meetings and draft documents. Monitor local media outlets and social media outlets for news and information pertaining to Women’s Center activities. Work closely with marketing company to ensure Women’s Center messaging is consistent, donor centric, and audience appropriate. This includes marketing and media materials for all Women’s Center events. All other duties as assigned by the Director of Volunteer Management & Strategic Initiatives
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, bending, traveling to outside meetings, regular use of standard office equipment such as the telephone, copier, fax and computer. Demands also involve protracted concentration. Reliable transportation is required. Job involves frequent interactions with internal and external customers, and routinely intense public contact.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
