The Director of Advocacy, Legistlative Affairs & Community Engagement contributes to AHF by supporting AHF’s advocacy, growth and relationship building efforts focused on issues relevant to AHF in the Southern Bureau. The Director of Advocacy, Legistlative Affairs & Community Engagement enhances the reputation of AHF by contacting individuals and groups having similar interests in order to develop advocacy and policy issues of mutal benefits, supporting AHF Mobilizers and their activations, and researching, compiling and cataloguing Southern Bureau Advocacy legislative and community building information. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. To be successful as the Director of Advocacy, Legistlative Affairs & Community Engagement , it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF, we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for our clients and workplace for our employees. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Director of Advocacy, Legistlative Affairs & Community Engagement will work as a part of a close-knit team to cultivate relationships with community partners and advocacy groups for the purpose of enhancing AHF’s mission, including expansion to new geographic areas.
