Full Job Description Marketing and Communications Manager Job Description:

This full time and permanent role in East Ft. Lauderdale is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the marketing and communications strategies for client organizations. This includes managing internal and external communications, content creation, brand development, public relations, digital marketing, and social media presence. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, a strategic thinker, and an innovative marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Strategy Development and Implementation:

o Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to support the organization’s goals and objectives. o Lead the creation of marketing campaigns, events, and promotional materials that effectively communicate the brand’s message. o Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure the organization’s marketing efforts are competitive and relevant. 2.

Graphic Design, Content Creation and Management:

o Create, edit, and oversee the development of engaging content across various channels, including social media, websites, newsletters, blogs, press releases, and promotional materials. o Maintain a consistent voice and tone across all communication channels that aligns with the brand’s values and mission. o Work closely with internal teams to gather relevant information and highlight the organization’s strengths in marketing communications. 3.

Brand Development and Management:

o Maintain and evolve the organization’s brand identity to ensure consistent messaging and visual representation across all platforms. o Ensure all marketing materials, digital assets, and communications adhere to brand guidelines. 4.

Public Relations:

o Manage media relations, including pitching stories, writing press releases, and organizing media outreach efforts. o Cultivate relationships with key media outlets and stakeholders to enhance the organization’s public profile. o Oversee crisis communications and manage responses to sensitive issues in collaboration with senior leadership. 5.

Digital Marketing and Social Media:

o Oversee and manage the organization’s digital marketing efforts, including website, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and paid media. o Develop and execute social media campaigns to drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation. o Monitor digital marketing performance metrics and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns. 6.

Event Marketing:

o Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events such as conferences, webinars, and product launches. o Ensure events are aligned with marketing goals and provide opportunities to showcase the organization’s services and expertise. 7.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

o Lead a team of marketing and communications professionals and graphic designers, providing direction, support, and professional development. o Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to align marketing initiatives with organizational objectives. 8.

Budget and Resource Management:

o Develop and manage the marketing and communications budget to ensure effective allocation of resources. o Measure the ROI of marketing and communications efforts and provide regular reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field 

Experience:

o Minimum of 5 years or experience in marketing and communications, public relations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. o Experience with digital marketing, content strategy, and brand management. o Proven track record of successfully managing marketing campaigns, public relations, and social media platforms. 

Skills:

o Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for diverse audiences. o Proficiency in graphic design, digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media management tools). o Knowledge of design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) and content management systems (WordPress, etc.). o Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. o Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams. o Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. 
