Position Overview:
Seacrest seeks a dynamic and experienced Director of Communications & Marketing to join our community. This individual will develop, implement and oversee all marketing and communication strategies with the goal of raising brand awareness about Seacrest across all of the school’s constituencies and in the broader Southwest Florida region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, oversee and monitor all strategic marketing initiatives as well as internal and external communication
- Lead digital marketing initiatives, website development, and social media postings using data analytics to evaluate and assess performance and constituency engagement
- Design, develop and execute digital, print advertising and direct mail campaigns to enhance brand awareness and support admissions initiatives
- Ensure brand consistency and standards for all marketing materials
- Manage media relations; and establish partnerships with local and regional outlets
- Serve on the Leadership Team supporting and collaborating with all school departments
- Provide fiscal oversight for the marketing and communications budget
Qualifications:
- B.A. in marketing, communications or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
- Experience in a school or non-profit environment is preferred
- The ability to think both strategically and tactically
- The capacity to prioritize and execute all communications in a timely manner
- Strong interpersonal and teaming skills to navigate a fast-paced working environment
- Experience with photography, graphic design software such as Canva and knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
- Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and to travel for events
