The ideal candidate will be a fundraising specialist with a passion for raising funds and awareness for our organization.

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects with a focus on securing gifts of $500 or more Develop relationships and secure meetings with prospects and donors throughout Southwest FL to inform and/or update them on 4KIDS’ activities and prime them for ongoing or new gifts Support the strategic leadership, oversight and delivery of prospect management, tracking, research, identification, solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship Utilize Virtuous database to manage donor and prospect relationships Provide experience and leadership for all current and future campaigns Maintain up-to-date knowledge of; 501(c)3 and Bylaw requirements, IRS and governance agencies guidelines, and current trends related to philanthropy to ensure maximum opportunities presented for gift commitments Assist with and attend all events for prospect cultivation and donor relationship building Assist with smaller/intimate donor experiences with high level partners

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred 5 years’ experience in fundraising and donor relations Proven track record of soliciting and stewarding individual gifts Ability to successfully implement donor tracking and cultivation techniques Availability to travel to specific evening and/or weekend events as needed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport Understanding of 4KIDS’ mission, values, and programs and the impact these programs on children and families in crisis Interpersonal and relationship building skills that allow success in professional, social, and networking opportunities Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in fundraising software and tools Why 4KIDS?
