Responsibilities:
Reporting to our Director of Communications, the Media Relations Manager will: Develop a media relations strategy with targeted outreach to national and key regional markets. Research story angles, conduct interviews, write compelling news releases, and build relationships with journalists, media outlets, and social media influencers. Prepare and coach Dogs Inc spokespeople for national and market-specific media opportunities.
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelors degree Background working for an organization or agency with national media campaigns Proven success securing national media placements (please include recent examples and standout writing samples) Strong copywriting, editing, and creative storytelling abilities Proficiency with PR software Excellent verbal communication skills This is a remote position with the option to work from our beautiful 66-acre Palmetto, Florida campus if local.
