Essential Duties In this role, the individual will: Create regional communication strategies that align with corporate objectives Establish relationships with key regional media outlets and journalists Lead regional media coverage and public perception Drive crisis communication efforts and offer guidance to regional team members Collaborate with global communication teams to ensure consistent messaging Lead the creation and distribution of press releases and media statements in the region Deliver training to regional teams on communication standard methodology Collaborate with regional partners to support communication initiatives Present on regional communication activities and their impact to senior management Assist the planning and implementation of regional events and public relations activities Knowledge This role emphasizes expertise in developing regional communication strategies, managing media relations, handling crisis communications, and engaging effectively with stakeholders. Given the strategic and leadership nature of the position, candidates should possess a solid foundation in Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline—gained through formal education and supplemented by substantial hands-on experience. Practical knowledge in media management, public perception, and event coordination is crucial. The role also requires a high level of proficiency in public relations practices and the ability to lead communication initiatives with confidence and clarity. Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to foster collaboration across teams are essential for both leadership and support responsibilities within the organization.
