Public Relations Assistant and Junior Social Media Manager The public relations assistant and junior social media manager willwork with the public relations team to ensure smooth running of thedivision in daily tasks and as it relates to all the PublicRelations at this stable and growing company in Doral. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor?s degree in publicrelations, communications or journalism. The candidate should havestrong writing, research and organization skills, be willing toadjust to a variety of temperaments and personalities and bewilling to go above and beyond the call of duty in order tocomplete a project accurately and on time.
Duties:
The public relations assistant and junior social media manager willwork closely with account coordinators and managers to producebasic production and detail work required for various accounts.
This includes, but is not limited to the following: ? research ? maintenance and creation of media lists and editorialcalendars ? database management ? PowerPoint presentations ? maintenance of photo files ? press kit assembly and distribution ? production supervision ? job trafficking ? general administrative duties (Shipping samples, filing, copying,phone calls) The role will include research via web based tools as well ascollating and analyzing data into deliverable strategicreports. Must be passionate about social media, driven and have the abilityto “think outside the box” in the planning of potential marketingstrategies and tactics.
