THE POSITION
Main Activities and Responsibilities Reporting to the VVIP Protocol & Seating Lead , the Protocol Officer will be a key member of the FIFA Club World Cup 25 Guest Operations Stadium team and will work in close collaboration with Central Stadium Operations, Protocol, Guest Relations, and other key individuals responsible for delivering key operations for guest groups in the stadium.. The main responsibilities and oversight of the Protocol Officer for the FIFA Club World Cup 25™ include: Integrate protocol requirements and orders of precedence at the assigned

stadium and have good knowledge of
VVIP/VIP
spaces including lounges, seating, drop-off zones and constituent flows Integrating state-of-the-art Protocol services as well as developing and conducting specific training on Protocol matters including special customs, behaviors and cultural considerations that are appropriate when hosting dignitaries and people in positions of influence and importance for event workforce, contractual partners, and service providers. Act as a contact at the venue for the staff and liasons of high-ranking dignitaries and government representatives in the lead up to the match held at the stadium assigned. Supports the implementation of FCWC25 Protocol Manual for all Distinguished Guest experiences both in the stadium Assists with protocol matters and experiences outside VVIP Tribunes experiences, management of VIP/VVIPs Guest (Welcoming, arrivals/departures, gift presentations, registration, and seating) for all guest groups Support the management of the guest application and seating tools in coordination with FIFA Guest Relations Coordinate and maintain a strategic overview of all Protocol activities during tournament time Ensure appropriate service level implementation for guests for each Guest Journey stage Responsible for a successful transfer of knowledge and debriefing as required for the Guest Operations functional areas Locations

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business administration, management, leadership, entrepreneurship Educational programs focusing on International Organizations or Sport Management preferred, but not required 3+ years in Protocol/VIP event management Extensive relevant work experience and strong knowledge of Protocol, advance and/or experience engaging with people in particular positions of influence and importance such as Heads of State, elected officials, celebrities, high net worth individuals and C-Level business leaders Experience within a sport/event organization or in a mega project, preferably a world class sporting event Experience in working with Government departments/representatives Exceptional attention to detail and high level of diplomacy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong Project Management skills A collaborator who will foster good working relationships Excellent organizational and planning skills Good networking skills Time management and the ability to prioritize a varied workload Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools Prior experience with international or large-scale events is highly desirable.
