Senior Vice President – Capital Raising (Institutional Investors)

Miami (Remote working not considered) An established investment manager is seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Vice President to lead institutional capital raising efforts across North and Latin America. This role is ideal for a polished relationship builder who thrives in high-touch, consultative sales environments and has a proven track record engaging sophisticated asset allocators. The Role You will take ownership of institutional fundraising initiatives targeting a broad set of investor types including public plans, endowments, foundations, family offices, and advisory channels. Working cross-functionally with senior leadership and investment teams, you’ll help shape the go-to-market strategy while personally driving all aspects of the investor journey-from prospecting and presentations to final negotiations. What You’ll Do Lead outreach and engagement across a diverse network of institutional prospects Manage the entire sales cycle, including presentations, RFPs, roadshows, and consultant relations Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and investor meetings Provide insight from market interactions to shape future strategy and positioning Collaborate with internal teams to support brand awareness, pipeline visibility, and client onboarding Cultivate new relationships while expanding and cross-selling within existing networks What You Bring Significant years of experience in institutional fundraising, investor relations, or consultant coverage Demonstrated success converting leads into long-term investor relationships Executive presence and confidence in boardroom settings with senior decision-makers Strong understanding of investment structures and private markets (real estate knowledge is a plus) Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment Bachelor’s degree required; advanced credentials (MBA, CFA, CAIA) and relevant licenses preferred Why This Role?
