Job Description

Shop & Social Media Manager Balloon World of Orlando, Inc. 6870 Stapoint Court, Winter Park, FL 32792 Balloon World of Orlando is a fast-growing retail shop and online store catering to balloon decorators, party planners, and creative professionals. With thousands of in-stock products and a loyal customer base, we’re ready to take things to the next level, and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us. We’re hiring a full-time Shop & Social Media Manager who will take ownership of the store’s day-to-day operations while also driving online engagement through content creation and digital marketing. This is a hands-on role where you’ll split your time between managing the storefront, tracking inventory, creating and posting video content, and engaging with our online audience. If you’re organized, outgoing, and know your way around social media, this could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities:

Open and manage the store during normal business hours (Tuesday-Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM) Assist walk-in customers with product selection and purchases Create and post short-form videos (product highlights, tutorials, etc.) across social platforms Promote our products in Facebook groups and respond to customer messages or comments Prepare online orders for shipping and manage daily package dropoffs (USPS/UPS) Keep the storefront organized and fully stocked Collaborate with our team to reach monthly sales targets

Qualifications:

Strong communication and customer service skills Experience creating and posting content on Instagram, Facebook, & TikTok Familiarity with online sales or Shopify is a plus Comfortable using tools like a ring light or basic editing apps to shoot product videos Detail-oriented and dependable with a positive, self-starting attitude Previous retail experience is helpful but not required

Compensation:

$14/hr base pay Monthly commission bonus: Earn commission on all sales above the store’s monthly profitability target

Schedule:

Full-time Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM (occasional weekends may be required)
