Full-Time Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to manage and grow multiple social media pages for our nationwide home improvement shows. This role will focus on engaging with current and prospective exhibitors, attracting attendees, and expanding our online presence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and understands how to turn social media activity into real-world results and exhibitor engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day posting and scheduling for multiple social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) across different event markets. Develop and execute engaging campaigns to promote show dates, exhibitor spotlights, special promotions, and behind-the-scenes content. Create compelling, on-brand content including graphics, short videos, reels, stories, and captions in collaboration with the creative team. Actively post and engage in local and niche Facebook Groups to promote upcoming shows, generate exhibitor and attendee leads, and increase brand visibility. Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and exhibitor/vendor interactions promptly and professionally. Maintain a strategic content calendar for each event market, balancing promotional, informative, and interactive content. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align social media strategy with show goals, lead generation efforts, and exhibitor communication. Track, analyze, and report performance metrics, including: Engagements with exhibitors via social media Leads and inquiries generated from social media posts and group activity Page and follower growth Campaign reach, engagement rate, and conversions Stay on top of trends, best practices, and tools to continually improve strategy and execution. Be willing to spend time on phone calls with clients.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience managing social media for multiple brands or locations (event or trade show experience a plus). Strong knowledge of social platforms, especially Facebook (including Groups), Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Experience using scheduling and reporting tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, or SproutSocial Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Working knowledge of Canva or Adobe Suite for basic graphic and video content creation. Comfortable engaging with users, answering questions, and representing the brand’s voice in online communities. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple pages, timelines, and campaigns at once. A self-starter who can work independently and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
