Will drive communications for the firm’s charitable giving and volunteerism activities internally and externally, including content for annual reporting activities. Will support giving processes, including governance support for the team, leadership of Raymond James Cares Month activities, and some community impact partnerships. Should demonstrate the ability to make complex decisions and interact and communicate with all levels of the organization. This associate will play an important role in Ready for School, Raymond James Cares initiatives, the charitable giving program, and important governance activities for the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Communication:
Manages internal and external communications for charitable giving initiatives, including development of impact reporting for meaningful donations,and provides content and sourcing for enterprise-wide reporting initiatives such as the annual report and others as needed.
Volunteerism:
Leads the firm’s annual month of volunteerism, Raymond James Cares Month, and ongoing support of RJ Community, our program for engaging associates and advisors across the country.
Charitable Giving:
Partners with the Vice President of Community Impact to support giving in communities where we have a meaningful presence. Supports relief giving efforts when the firm responds to an event that affects associates and advisors.
Administration:
Supports charitable giving process to ensure accurate and timely engagement with internal requestors and charitable partners.
Governance:
Administers donation request process, community impact email in box and other governance and administrative activities as needed.
Marketing:
Collaborates with marketing on activation of charitable partnerships, sponsorship benefits, speaking opportunities for Raymond James leaders, associate and advisor attendance at events, and distribution of Raymond James Cares shirts and other marketing assets. Knowledge of Project management processes sufficient to support a national giving and volunteerism program. Fundamental communications practices and procedures. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint are necessary to create documents, spreadsheets, emails, reporting requirements, and presentations. Skills Written and verbal communications, including the ability to manage charitable reporting efforts. Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization and with external partners. Works with limited supervision and provides technical guidance when required on analyzing data for use in reports to help guide decision making. Manage multiple complex project timelines; prioritize and monitor time-sensitive deadlines and assignments to ensure timely completion. Solve problems and develop innovative solutions. Think quickly and creatively, overcome objections, and react well to deadline pressure. Provide a high level of service internally and externally.
