Responsibilities:
Responsible for advancing BayCare Health System’s state legislative agenda and raise awareness of its mission throughout the State of Florida. This requires systematic cultivation and management of relationships with elected officials, close monitoring of legislation and public policy affecting the delivery of health care, and a variety of public outreach strategies. Manages the working relationship with contracted state lobby team to ensure objectives are being met. Manages all state related budgetary matters. Required specific skills includes extensive out of town travel.
