Job Overview We’re seeking a passionate Fan and Community Engagement Manager to plan and execute diverse events and foster strong community ties for Sarasota Paradise. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll organize youth camps, festivals, and fan events, coordinate with the ticketing department for community engagement, and manage volunteers to deliver impactful experiences. Key Responsibilities Event Planning :

Organize youth soccer camps, community festivals, corporate partner meetups, season ticket holder events, and volunteer appreciation events, including fan experience activities (e.g., fan zones, giveaways), to maximize event frequency and attendance.

Camp Coordination :

Plan camp logistics (e.g., dates, venues), collaborating with Soccer Operations Manager for administration, Facility & Team Operations Manager for setup, and ticketing/partnerships teams for sales.

Community Engagement :

Build relationships with local organizations and support Head of Marketing with event-specific press coverage.

Ticketing Coordination :

Coordinate with Head of Ticketing to ensure Ticket Sales Executives are on-site at all events for community engagement and ticket sales support.

Volunteer Management :

Recruit and manage volunteers and event interns to ensure adequate staffing for events and camps.

Event Reporting :

Track event attendance, ticket sales, and feedback, reporting to Head of Marketing for monthly Club President reports. Key Measurables Execute events across categories (camps, community festivals, season ticket holder events, corporate meetups, volunteer appreciation), per club leadership targets. Report event-driven ticket sales for games and camps to Head of Ticketing within 48 hours post-event. Secure press coverage for 75% or more of major events (e.g., local media mentions). Support event-specific press coverage for Head of Marketing, per club leadership targets. Fully staff volunteer teams 7 days before events. Submit event attendance and feedback reports to Head of Marketing within 48 hours post-event. Provide weekly event updates to Head of Marketing. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in event planning, community engagement, or sports marketing, ideally in sports or community-focused roles. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills; thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., ActiveCampaign) for tracking event metrics and engagement. Passion for soccer and community building, committed to growing a USL League One club. Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for local travel (e.g., event coordination, community meetings). Bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing, sports management, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits Base Salary :

$40,000-$50,000 annually.

Performance Bonus :
Club-Wide Attendance Bonus :

Percentage of salary for achieving sell-out home game targets, uniting the team to fill the stands.
