14282 POSITION SUMMARY The Mgr•Marketing Communications will provide day-to-day management and execution of activities in support of marketing plans and digital programs. The position entails the execution of marketing tactics spanning all marketing communications specialties and channels.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the development and execution of marketing communication projects including but not limited to marketing literature, press releases, web site content, social media content, newsletters, trade show materials, and internal announcements. Act as an account executive for internal business clients; responding to, prioritizing and managing day-to-day requests. Analyze marketing metrics including program ROI and web analytics, and provide regular reports. Ensure corporate identity is consistently and effectively communicated across all programs and materials. Manage all projects on-time and within budget and provide regular status reports and progress updates. Manage and maintain the marketing budget for the assigned line of business. Create presentations for senior management and other internal audiences as requested. Analyze the effectiveness of all marketing tools and recommend ways to enhance their effectiveness. Contribute to the department’s development by bringing new ideas and marketing best practices to the team for discussion. Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. Mentors, coaches, trains and develops team.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred. 6+ years of previous marketing experience required. 3+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect) preferred. Strong project management (from conception to completion) required. Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required. High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Outlook & Internet applications. Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, and planning skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning). Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts. Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients. Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Ability to work with and influence peers and management. Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
