JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Communications Manager – Internal is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategies, programs, and initiatives to help US Property Management team members and clients stay informed about important news and events, and to help improve the information and communication flow to and from team members.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for writing, editing, posting, and distribution of US Property Management information to internal audience, and third-party clients, using a wide variety of channels, including web portal, videos, email, and meeting events. Maintains in-depth knowledge of industry and business/lifestyle trends to effectively make recommendations to operations and development/investment teams for PR needs based on overall division goals. Writes and produces original content to effectively engage team members. Assists the Sr. Director with developing and driving key message strategies for the business line to targeted audiences. Works closely with leaders and subject matter experts to ascertain their needs and devises effective, efficient communication strategies Develop and/or monitors metrics to measure the effectiveness of communications and recommends enhancements to communication programs. Assists key leaders in developing, preparing for, and delivering presentations, updates, videos, virtual town hall meetings, etc. Uses project management tools to manage deliverables, and to report on project requests and average project timelines.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Demonstrated outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including writing, editing and proofreading, in order to develop and manage marketing, public relations, and advertising campaigns and marketing training, and to create and make presentations to business leaders, clients/owners, and on-site team members. Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, English, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience and training required. Minimum of 4-7 years managing internal or corporate communications. Video creation and editing experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft products (e.g. Word, PPT, Teams, Viva Engage, SharePoint, etc.) in order to develop and/or complete required reports, manage communication, and create and edit impactful presentations, Broad knowledge of apartment operations and industry-related marketing concepts and terms in order to read, interpret, and apply market information to understand its impact on the Company’s public image and reputation preferred. Proven experience developing and implementing communication strategies with varied delivery methods. Proven project, time management, and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. #LI-TR1

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

Corporate Positions:

 In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

Onsite Property Positions:

 In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
