ENGAGEMENT DIRECTOR FULL TIME FY 2025-2026

Kennesaw, GA Northwest Classical Academy seeks a full-time Community Engagement Director. The Community Engagement Director (CED) is a member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for campus communications, fundraising, and the Parent Volunteer Association. The Community Engagement Director reports to the Head of School and receives support from the Advancement and Communications staff of the school’s charter management organization (Liberty Classical Schools). The CED has the privilege of working with amazing volunteers and colleagues to form knowledgeable, virtuous citizens by strengthening the school community through volunteer engagement, fundraising, and telling the story of how classical education is making a difference in the lives of our talented and dedicated students. This is a pivotal role that is perfect for an organized, creative, relationship-driven person who enjoys working independently and with a team. The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following: Marketing and Communications Create a culture of storytelling Support marketing needs across all departments and ensure the consistent application of branding standards Supervise the Communications Assistant, who produces school communications (e.g., weekly and monthly newsletters), manages NCA’s social media channels (Facebook and Instagram), and ensures the school website is up to date and accurate Fundraising Execute the Spartan Fund annual campaign, including the identification of major gift prospects and corporate donors, personal asks, the development of materials, special event planning (e.g., Parent Social and Grandparents Day), and donor acknowledgements Implement the annual Business Partners program including marketing, soliciting, and ensuring the provision of benefits Serve as the on-campus campaign manager for capital and other specialty campaigns as needed Volunteer Support and Community Building Oversee the Parent Volunteer Association (PVA), including organizational structure and volunteer opportunities on campus Foster relationships with employees, students, families, and alumni Engage in community outreach, including attending occasional events in the local community and hosting community members on campus Attend school events (may be outside of school hours) Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree required Five or more years of related work experience including marketing and fundraising Strong organizational and time management skills required Experience working in education is strongly preferred but not required Strong candidates will support the school’s
