Role:

We’re looking for a passionate and authentic Reddit Community Manager to join our team and help build meaningful relationships with users across Reddit. You’ll represent our product in a way that feels human, transparent, and engaging-balancing brand goals with community trust.

Responsibilities Community Engagement:

Actively participate in relevant subreddits as a genuine member. Join conversations, answer questions, and offer helpful insights.

Authentic Representation:

Represent yourself as a real person first, brand representative second. Share personal experiences and interests to build trust and relatability.

Transparent Communication:

Prioritize honest, no-PR-speak interactions. Address user concerns with clarity and empathy, focusing on community needs over brand promotion.

Human-Centered Tone:

Use humor, memes, GIFs, and pop culture references to connect with users while maintaining professionalism.

Issue Resolution:

Respond to user feedback with empathy and transparency. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Content Creation:

Develop engaging Reddit content, including behind-the-scenes updates, product news, and AMAs (Ask Me Anything sessions).

Moderator Collaboration:

Build relationships with subreddit moderators to coordinate sticky posts, updates, and maintain a positive brand presence.

Feedback Loop:

Collect and share user insights with internal teams to inform product improvements and community strategy.

Leadership Visibility:

Facilitate executive participation in Reddit AMAs, office hours, and other thought leadership opportunities.

Crisis Communication:

Maintain open, honest communication during challenging times. Provide timely updates and involve leadership when needed. Minimum Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in community engagement, social media management, or online community moderation. Proven ability to develop and execute community engagement strategies aligned with brand goals. Strong understanding of Reddit’s platform, culture, and community dynamics. Experience managing or moderating Reddit communities professionally. Excellent written communication skills with a conversational, authentic tone. Familiarity with Reddit tools and features (e.g., AMAs, flairs, AutoModerator, Reddit Ads). Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of analytics for tracking engagement, sentiment, and growth. Preferred Qualifications Experience with other community platforms (e.g., Discord, forums). Background in public relations or partnership development. Passion for building positive relationships and enhancing brand presence. Education Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field. Equivalent work experience in community management or customer engagement may be considered in lieu of formal education.
