GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This full-time staff member joins the Membership Engagement Team at Alpha Delta Pi’s Executive Office. The Extension Coordinator will support the sorority’s extension and new chapter development efforts at The Ohio State University. This is a contract position for a one to two-year term.
DUTIES PERFORMED
Responsible for executing the Sorority’s growth strategy on an assigned campus to ensure a successful new chapter establishment including: Support chapter’s long term growth efforts including preparation for primary recruitment and continuous recruitment efforts. Build relationships with key campus stakeholders including administration, Fraternity/Sorority Life staff, and Greek leaders in an effort to learn campus community and apply learnings to recruitment and new chapter development plans. Partner closely with Executive Office staff and volunteers to build new chapter development plans. Support newly elected chapter officers as they assume and lead chapter operations during first year following installation including: Plan and coordinate on-campus marketing, recruitment, new chapter development events and programming Build calendar and manage logistical planning for social events, education, philanthropy events, and other programming to ensure a meaningful membership experience. Educate and promote chapter leadership opportunities and support election process in partnership with advisory board. Assist in ongoing advisory board training to ensure strong support plan for the new chapter. Partner with Executive Office staff, volunteers, and chapter officers to help new chapter establish and attain realistic goals. Monitor new chapter’s understanding of and adherence to Alpha Delta Pi Statements of Policy. Potential travel to Grand Convention or other summer meetings as well as other events or conferences throughout the year as determined by supervisor.

SUGGESTED BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required. Alpha Delta Pi membership required; preference will be given to applicants who were active collegiate members with chapter officer or Panhellenic experience within the past two years. Demonstrated project management and/or customer service experience. Significant knowledge of Alpha Delta Pi with chapter or Panhellenic leadership preferred. Ability and willingness to relocate to Columbus, Ohio for this role. Additional travel as a representative of the sorority may also be needed (travel will vary and is dependent on needs). Strong public speaking and written communication skills, sound judgment, and decision-making ability. Proactive, self-directed, and able to independently solve problems. Customer service oriented and ability to maintain confidentiality. Outstanding organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
EMPLOYMENT LOCATION
Columbus, Ohio during academic year; remote flexible during summer months and academic breaks. Remote work is not eligible in the following states: CA, NY, NJ, HI, AK.
