Cobb County Business Bootcamp (CCBB) a large projectwhich operates under Business Innovation Team (BIT) , is dedicated to empowering local business owners by providing the essential tools, knowledge, and support necessary to start or grow their businesses. The CCBB’s passion for transforming lives and helping individuals build their legacies drives their mission. Business Innovation Team has assembled a cohort of seasoned experts with proven success in business to create and support a unique community of members in the CCBB to provide comprehensive resources for their members. Offerings include robust A-Z online business courses, live workshops, peer-to-peer roundtables, and hands-on services, all designed to guide business owners in writing their own success story! Position Overview BIT is seeking a Member Experience Coordinator for the CCBB – one who possesses a deep understanding of the challenges faced by business owners in their day-to-day operations. This individual should be well-acquainted with the dedication and resilience necessary to turn a vision into reality. They must demonstrate empathy and compassion, combined with professionalism in all communications, while maintaining appropriate boundaries. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, enjoys connecting with people, and excels in creating vibrant digital spaces, such as our CCBB online platform (open 24 hours per day). Community Platform Monitoring Functionality Oversight :
Ensure the online platform operates smoothly, enhancing usability for members.
Member Support and Moderation Communication Management :
Promptly address member inquiries and feedback.
Issue Resolution :
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve member issues effectively.
Discussion Moderation :
Maintain a respectful and positive environment during interactions.
Professional Standards :
Ensure all member interactions uphold high professionalism.
Proactive Solutions :
Implement measures to prevent recurring issues and improve overall satisfaction.
Community Guidelines and Policies Policy Enforcement :

Community Activities and Events Event Organization :
Coordinate regular webinars and discussion forums for active participation and knowledge sharing.
Promotional Efforts :
Advocate for our courses and initiatives to enhance member value.
Event Support :
Attend occasional in-person events, including nights or weekends, as needed.
Community Feedback and Insights Feedback Gathering :
Collect member feedback and provide insights for service improvement and strategic decision-making.
Analytics and Reporting Engagement Metrics :
Monitor engagement data, share insights, and recommend improvements to enhance community experience.
Professional Development Continuous Learning :
Stay updated on best practices and technologies in community engagement.
Shepherding Onboarding Leadership :
Guide new members through the onboarding process, ensuring they feel supported and excited to participate.
Networking Facilitation :
Foster member relationships by identifying common challenges for peer support.
Create Raving Fans Active Engagement :
Cultivate an environment where members inspire others to join CCBB.
Advocate Identification :
Identify enthusiasts and potential advocates to expand reach and boost engagement.
Additional Duties Attend and Oversee:
Assist with occasional networking and other events as needed. Skills and Qualifications Must have been a business owner or assisted a business owner in company development and attaining both team and revenue goals. 2-3 years of Community Management Experience. (Experience nurturing online communities or similar engagement initiatives.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Comfortable being the ‘face’ of our online community adept at engaging people of different ages and backgrounds.

Strong content creation and editing abilities. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software. Educational and Other Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (required). A history of volunteerism, a plus. An advanced degree is not required but a plus. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
