Competitive salary + benefits | Company vehicle, laptop, phone, and tablet provided Position Overview The Dealer Relationship Manager plays a vital role in supporting Clipper Petroleum’s wholesale fuel dealers to ensure operational excellence, fuel brand compliance, and long-term partnership success. This role acts as a trusted advisor to 60-70 dealer accounts, ensuring they meet brand standards, leverage company tools, and receive top-tier support. Key Responsibilities Fuel Brand Compliance Stay up to date on all brand marketing, operations, and technology programs. Conduct routine site reviews and collaborate with the Director on brand shop score evaluations. Develop and communicate tailored action plans to address compliance issues. Coordinate with third-party contractors to resolve site-level deficiencies. Coach dealers on monthly brand standards and ensure timely implementation of marketing materials. Account Management & Consulting Serve as the primary business consultant for assigned dealers. Promote and support adoption of ClipperLink and other customer interface tools. Track dealer performance through mystery shops, contract compliance, and brand metrics. Address collection concerns and escalate when necessary. Use Clipper’s Customer Stratification model to strengthen dealer engagement. Partner with Business Development Managers on site visits and growth opportunities. Foster strong relationships to ensure contract renewals and long-term dealer success. Relationship Building & Internal Collaboration Support internal audits, research projects, and special assignments. Maintain strong communication with both Wholesale and Retail teams. Attend internal meetings and fuel brand training events to stay informed. Represent Clipper at dealer brand meetings, grand openings, and appreciation events. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (college degree a plus) At least 1 year of experience in retail, fuel, or petroleum industry preferred Proven experience managing multiple accounts or high-priority projects Key Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with strong time management and follow-through Detail-oriented and results-driven Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital tools Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, field-based role High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer service mindset Additional Requirements Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to stores up to 4 days per week Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends based on business needs Ability to lift and operate tools/devices; frequent standing, talking, and travel Must be available to respond to urgent matters outside of standard business hours Work Environment 80% field-based travel across dealer sites 20% administrative/meeting time at Clipper Petroleum corporate office Some overnight travel required Disclaimer This job description outlines primary responsibilities but is not exhaustive.
