Cambridge, MA About the Job This role is responsible forbuilding and driving the global commercial strategy for GIportfolio assets. The role’s primary responsibility will be to leaddevelopment and execution of an innovative, global commercialstrategy for multiple GI assets, including portfolio positioning,HCP launch strategy, competitive positioning, market developmentand go to market planning in collaboration with local teams. Therole reports to the Global TA Lead for GI. Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and leadthe commercial strategy for GI portfolio assets, including HCPmarket development, KOL engagement and competitive differentiation
  • Develop key market insights and ensure portfolio assets areoptimized through a deep understanding of the GI market. Includesdeveloped indications (e.g. IBD) and unmet needs in new GIindications.
  • Seamlessly collaborate with commercial and R Dcross-functional partners, including the Global Project Teams(GPTs), Global Project Heads (GPHs) and contribute as needed toteam deliverables.
  • Represent commercial TA in asset governance asnecessary to accelerate development.
  • Build and persuasivelycommunicate asset business cases, including forecasts andassumptions, commercialization strategy and growth opportunities togain resources and commitment for asset development
  • Responsiblefor the successful development and execution of a global marketdevelopment strategies, including engagement with key localmarkets.
  • Engage with local markets to ensure assets profile meetunmet needs and asset strategies balance global and local needs andrequirements.
  • Manage annual budgets, ensuring strategicallocation of funds and monthly tracking
  • Maintain connectivity toinnovative external vendors and lead ongoing management ofadvertising agency partners and other vendors to ensure executionof objectives.
About You Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’sdegree in life sciences, marketing or business required
  • Minimumof 8 years’ experience in product/brand management, salesmanagement and/or strategic marketing
  • Experience in U.S. orinternational marketing (non-U.S.) within a global commercialpharmaceutical or biotechnology organization
  • Strong HCP marketingbackground with expertise in execution across all channels
  • In-depth understanding of the GI market, and external expertnetwork is preferred
  • Product pre-launch/launch experience inspecialty care
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functionalgroups, includingMarketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, MarketResearch, Finance, Forecasting, Development
  • Comfortable leadingin a matrix environment without direct authority
  • Linemanagement/team leadership experience is preferred
  • Proven abilityto work across different countries and different cultures
  • Experience managing multiple vendor and agency partners and relatedbudgets Professional Skills
