The Community Relations Specialist updates grant program trackers for the CR team to monitor the statuses of grant requests and overall programs, including tracking and monitoring budgets Supports Community Relations grant funding requests, including vetting nonprofit organizations and doing first-level reviews of requests Supports the execution of grant programs, including moving requests through the grant management system The Community Relations Specialist serves as a resource for database questions from external partners, including nonprofit grantees and applicants, and is the point of contact for external troubleshooting Tracks and monitors event sponsorships, including guest lists The Community Relations Specialist supports research needs and other miscellaneous projects as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to navigate systems, maintain a database, and produce reporting Excellent attention to detail with an ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities across several Teams and projects Self-reliant and self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously to achieve results Great teammate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Minimum Job Skills required to perform this job: Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail Experience with database management and/or data analytics Experience working in a highly collaborative setting with multiple levels of stakeholders Ability to be flexible and navigate multiple processes and workstreams at the same time Strong customer relations skills Decision-making and problem-solving skills Proficient with
Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of the nonprofit sector Experience with Blackbaud, IGam preferred
