Job Description

At Viridian, we are focused on developing best-in-class medicines for people living with autoimmune and rare diseases. Leveraging our team’s expertise in antibody discovery and engineering, we have created a robust pipeline of differentiated investigational therapeutic candidates for well-validated targets. Reporting to the Chief Business Offer, the Dir/Sr Dir/Exe Dir of Investor Relations role will play a pivotal role in building and executing Viridian’s comprehensive investor relations strategy, fostering credible and impactful communications with the investment community, and supporting Viridian’s management team in articulating the company’s story. The ideal candidate will possess deep capital markets expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a strong understanding of the public biotech landscape. This role is based in our Waltham, MA headquarters. Our office-based employees are required to work in the office three (3) days a week. Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Be a key player, working closely with the CBO and CEO, in the development of a comprehensive investor relations strategy and establishment of a world-class investor relations function that reflects a deep understand of Viridian’s strategy, science, and market potential Craft compelling and differentiated narratives for the investment community, working with internal SMEs as needed; draft and deliver press releases, corporate presentations, Q&A, and briefing materials to be used by Viridian senior leadership at investor events Develop strategic communications around quarterly earnings, data disclosures, corporate updates, and other major company milestones, ensuring alignment with SEC regulations and Reg FD Plan and execute investor events for Viridian, including non-deal roadshows, investor conferences, R D/Analyst Days, and 1×1 meetings Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with the investment community, including existing and prospective investors, and sell-side analyst Provide regular updates to the executive leadership and Board of Directors (as appropriate) on investor feedback, sell-side commentary, and capital markets insights Monitor and analyze the company’s shareholder base to drive strategic targeting, meeting prioritization, and provide management-ready reports summarizing trends and shifts in shareholders Coordinate with internal teams to share competitive insights and ensure consistency across all disclosures and external-facing materials Partner with external agencies to support Viridian’s investor relations activities

10-15 years of relevant investor relations, equity research, or capital markets experience in the biotechnology or life sciences sector Bachelor s degree required; MBA or advance degree in finance or science preferred Ability to translate complex scientific and clinical data into clear messaging for external stakeholders Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and executive leadership Strong attention to detail Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks Strong commitment to ethical standards Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.) Ability to travel up to 15% The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience Viridian offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Competitive pay and stock options for all employees Medical, dental, and vision coverage with 100% of premiums paid by Viridian for employees and their eligible dependents Fertility and mental health programs Short- and long-term disability coverage Life, Travel and
