Position Summary The Director of Marketing and Public Relations is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations strategies that enhance BAMSI’s brand, support its mission, and drive engagement with stakeholders. This role requires a results-driven, innovative leader adept at leveraging data-driven decision-making and technology to achieve measurable outcomes across a diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing & Branding Develop and implement an integrated marketing and communications strategy that aligns with BAMSI’s mission and strategic objectives. Strengthen BAMSI’s brand identity and ensure consistency across all platforms and materials. Drive market research initiatives to inform strategy and identify opportunities for growth and engagement. Digital Transformation & Technology Integration Oversee the digital transformation of marketing and communication efforts, including website management, social media, and digital campaigns. Utilize technology to streamline processes, enhance user experience, and improve accessibility of information. Implement tools and platforms that enable data collection and analysis to inform decision-making. Data-Driven Decision Making Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing and PR initiatives. Analyze data to assess campaign performance and inform future strategies. Prepare regular reports for leadership to communicate progress and impact. Public Relations & Community Engagement Serve as the primary media contact, cultivating relationships with media outlets and managing press releases and public statements. Develop and execute public relations strategies to enhance BAMSI’s visibility and reputation. Engage with community partners, stakeholders, and the public to promote BAMSI’s programs and initiatives. Leadership & Collaboration Work closely with Content Coordinator to foster a culture of innovation, execution and excellence Collaborate with internal departments to ensure cohesive messaging and support their respective departmental goals. Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and public relations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in developing and executing strategic marketing plans. Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms. Demonstrated ability to use data analytics to drive decision-making. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
