Eliot is seeking a dedicated Family Connector - Part-time to join our Family Resource Center (FRC) team.
The FRC is part of a statewide network of community-based programs offering multicultural parenting resources, support groups, and early childhood services. Our goal is to help families strengthen their bonds, connect with others, and engage in their communities.
As a Family Connector, you will coordinate and oversee the daily operations of Project RISE at the Family Resource Center. The ideal candidate will have lived experience within the Latinx community, along with strong knowledge of local community dynamics and immigrant family issues.
Responsibilities:
Conduct capacity building activities (e.g. asset mapping and environmental scan) for the organization with the support of the Community Engagement consultants
Plan and execute community design strategy workshops for the community in collaboration with the Community Engagement consultants
Conduct and coordinate intervention services and refer individuals and families to clinical services when deemed necessary
Coordinate with community providers to ensure seamless service delivery and promote collaborative partnerships.
Represent the host agency and the RISE Project at stakeholder meetings, community forums, and relevant coalitions.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field
Knowledge and awareness of the local community and immigrant family issues
Valid Massachusetts Drivers License
Bilingual in English/Spanish or Portuguese, required
Schedule:
Part-time, flexible hours available Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm
