Job Description

Community Relations Director Meadowlakes of Statesville Statesville, NC 28677 The Community Relations Director is responsible for driving occupancy and revenue growth through effective marketing, outreach, and relationship-building. This role oversees the move-in process, conducts tours, manages community events, and develops referral partnerships. The position requires strong sales skills, compassion for older adults, and the ability to represent the community in a professional and welcoming manner. Essential Job Functions Marketing & Outreach

  • Present professional, informative tours to prospective residents and their families
  • Conduct prompt follow-up with inquiries and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Plan and execute all aspects of move-ins, collaborating with the Wellness Director
  • Track and manage leads, conversion metrics, waitlists, and vacancy reports.
  • Represent the community in local networking groups and healthcare organizations.
  • Host marketing events, open houses, and support groups.
  • Create monthly marketing plans with performance goals and budget alignment.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations governing residential care move-in/move-out procedures.
  • Serve as the designee for the Executive Director as needed. Joint Responsibilities with Executive Director
  • Collaborate on census goals, marketing campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Support cost control efforts and operational efficiency strategies. Customer Service
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across all interactions.
  • Meet and greet all visitors with professionalism and warmth.
  • Answer phone calls and inquiries in accordance with company standards.
  • Evaluate customer satisfaction data and assist in implementing improvements. Minimum Eligibility Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field preferred
  • Experience in retirement, assisted living, or memory care communities.
  • Proven direct sales experience with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable move-in/move-out rules and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Compassion for and desire to work with seniors and their families.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in computer software systems and CRM databases.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and meet health requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Residents’ Rights
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable resident rights and privacy regulations. Training
  • Attend all required in-service training and educational sessions. Other Duties
  • Adhere to and promote all company policies, procedures, and mission.
  • The Executive Director may assign additional responsibilities. Working Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Interaction with residents, families, referral sources, and team members
  • Occasional evening and weekend hours for events or tours
  • Exposure to cleaning agents, airborne contaminants, and potentially infectious materials Physical/Sensory Requirements
  • Light work: Ability to exert up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be mobile throughout the building and offsite as needed.
