Huntington Bank is seeking a Regional Communications, Associate Director to develop and execute strategic communication plans for select regions within Huntington Bank’s footprint. The Associate Director will provide strategic leadership as the corporate communications lead within their portfolio of regions, guiding messaging and fostering alignment with enterprise-wide initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic communication plans and manage communication programs and initiatives that increases awareness and engagement among and external stakeholders, including media, clients, partners and communities. Secure regional news coverage that tells a consistent and holistic story about Huntington’s brand, business priorities and initiatives. Collaborate across Corporate Communications, Regional Marketing and other teams to generate compelling content that engages colleagues and external stakeholders. Draft, manage, and distribute internal and external communications, including news, organizational announcements, corporate developments and crisis management through a variety of internal and external media. Develop communication briefs, executive summaries, talking points, video scripts, presentations, and frequently asked questions. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of enterprise and local initiatives to foster effective collaboration and ensure strategic alignment across regions.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of related experience
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written & verbal communication skills Strong leadership and executive presence Must possess superior writing, editing, speech writing and/or presentation development, project management and problem-solving skills. Must be able to understand complex concepts and translate them for a wide variety of internal and external audiences. Must have extensive experience with North Carolina and South Carolina-based media. #LI-NG1 #

Compensation Range:
$93,000 to $189,000 annually The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
